Shh!   It’s a secret; but not for long!!

As the 4^th and final stop on my recent journey to Puerto Vallarta, Secrets Resort and Spa was a long anticipated delight.  As you step out of your taxi you are greeted with chilled bubbly and a cool towel meant to erase any traces of residual discomfort from running the “timeshare gantlet” at the airport  (have no fears the gantlet run isn’t really all that bad).  You can read all about it in my soon to to be published “Arriving in Puerto Vallarta” segment.

While seated at a comfortable desk in the beautiful open air lobby, check-in is handled seamlessly while you sip your remaining champagne. You are then lead to one of the beautifully appointed ocean view rooms.

Simply stated; Secrets is superb!  This five star all inclusive resort boasts five amazing al la cart restaurants.  Bordeaux and Oceana (French and seafood respectively) are beyond reproach.  The Teppanyaki bar at Hamitsu (Pan-Asian fusion) is delicious and makes for a delightfully fun evening.

Quality abounds at Secrets.  The food and drink quality is exceptional.  All bars are stocked with top shelf brands.  The professional staff could not be more attentive.

Located in a the middle of Puerto Vallarta, on a beautiful stretch of beach, Secrets is a great choice for couples, honeymooners, girlfriend getaways, weddings and even family reunions with use of its sister property, “Now Amber“, which is adjacent and located on the same stretch of beach and caters to families.

Last, but definitely not least ….  The Spa – Ahhh!

                            

Time to exhale!  No trip to Secrets is complete without a visit to Secrets Spa by Pevonia which is designed to provide dozens of pampering experiences from the magnificent hydrotherapy circuit to the well trained masseurs.  You are guaranteed to leave this spa feeling refreshed, rejuvenated & renewed.

The Secrets experience is EXCEPTIONAL.  For this reason Secrets Resort and Spa is destined to be past along from one satisfied vacationer to another.
